PROPERTIES:
This product is highly hygroscopic and deliquescent. Keep tightly sealed or stoppered, absorbs oxygen very readily with formation of orthophosphoric acid, soluble in alcohol and water.
APPLICATION:
Analysis (testing for mercury);
Chemical reducing agent;
Stabilizer for polyfibres;
Agrochemical intermediates;
Plant nutrient.
HAZARD:
Toxic by ingestion and inhalation, irritant to skin and eyes.
FIRST AID:
Eyes, flush with plenty of water.
Skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If conscious, give large quantity of milk.
Ingestion, induce vomiting, treat symptomatically.
